What the Crab?!
2:34 PM

Malaysia lay claims to Chilli crab, Laksa, and Hainan Chicken rice.
What the crab!! They also lay claim to Nasi lemak, Bah Kut teh.

I strongly disagree. Who ever has heard tourist flock to malaysia for chilli crab or Hainanese chicken rice?

Singapore is known as a food paradise for a reason. I wonder what would malaysia's reaction be if Singapore claimed Satay, Lontong and Nasi lemak as exclusively Singapore?

Food has been, and always will be a cultural icon for Singapore. Singapore unique harmony of Chinese, malays, indian and eurasian has created many dishes that are exclusively singapore, so if malaysia claims "rights" to dishes that we singaporeans, all agree is from singapore, wouldnt it be like stealing away our national identity?
